How To Give
“It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35). At St Lawrence and Church of The Ascension Bedmond, we encourage a culture of giving. Every gift makes an incredible difference to our incredible church, the people of Abbots Langley and Bedmond, and our work in the world. There are many ways in which you can help.
Planned Giving
Many of our parishioners give via a monthly standing order. It's really simple to set up and makes a huge difference to the life of the church.

Easy Fundraising
If you shop on-line, please do so through our easyfundraising page. Over 2700 retailers have signed up to easyfundraising, which donates a percentage of your shopping bill to the church at no extra cost to yourself.
Time and Talents
Giving doesn't just have to be monetary. We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to make our churches the best that they can be, and to live God's work as he wants us to. If you are interested in getting involved, please let the office know.
Some of the ways you can help include: baptism and bereavement visiting, church cleaning, churchyard working party, coffee rota, DIY / general repair, flower arranging, sunday lunches helper, visiting the housebound / elderly and many others.
