St Lawrence and The Church Of The Ascension are both brilliant options if you are looking to get married in a Church OF England Church. St Lawrence is one of the most iconic buildings in the village, and is steeped in centuries of history. The church building itself is simply stunning, creating the perfect backdrop for your day. Our wonderful bells, tuneful organ and stunning choir can add that extra element, creating memories to last a lifetime. The Church of the Ascension in Bedmond offers that eclectic and intimate option for your day, often chosen by locals to the village, and offers a warm and comforting atmosphere from the moment you enter. A license must be obtained to get married in The Church of The Ascension. 

 

You are welcome to marry in St Lawrence or The Church Of The Ascension whatever your beliefs, whether or not you are baptised (christened) and regardless of whether you go to church or not.
